Fellow Tablers,
Our World Meeting is over. You have made your decisions on who is to lead this great organisation for the coming year, and here I am now ready to get down to the job.
As always the first thing an RTI VP does is prepare a round of Coffee!! This first test I believe I manage to scrape through, but it is what comes next that is most important!
My main role as Vice President is to observe the goings on in the Round Table world and plan ahead for my Presidential year and beyond. We have entered the second year of the 3 year plan set out in the Vision Document. My aim is to build on this document in order to keep up the momentum to ensure a stronger future for our great organisation.
My other role is to be the main contact person to all association Vice Presidents, so please I am only an email or phone call away. Whatever is on your mind, do share it. Remember that by the next AGM in Dubai, each association needs to have a concrete Membership Plan in place, so please discuss it between you and let me know where I can help. It is only by sharing ideas and putting forward suggestions that we can make ourselves stronger.
Lastly, I will be overseeing the content of the RTI Website. We have a great website with loads of information and news but we need to keep it alive by updating it and adding more features. Once again, it is YOUR website so contact me if you would like to see something on it.
I look forward to meeting many new faces over the coming years so encourage your fellow tablers to travel more and get to know the great world of Round Table!
