Expansion of Round Table in Other Countries

Become a Founder!

Round Table is present in 65 countries around the world and it has set up a plan to extend in other countries around the world. If you are an enthusiastic individuals who is looking for a rewarding project to be involved in and are willing to invest time then Round Table and its expansion to other countries is for you. Round Table is full of fellowship, fun and networking and most importantly is an organisation that helps the local and international community. Information about the work of Round Table is included in our website which we invite you to explore (www.rtinternational.org). We are sure you will have a lot of questions but I will be delighted to answer them. Please send all your questions about expansion of Round Table to membership@rtinternational.org or the regional chairman of each one of the Round Table Regions as follows:

Currently expansion efforts are initiated in China, Egypt, Trinidad, Faroe Islands, Latvia, and Spain, and a few other countries around the world. If you travel to these countries or countries that Round Table is not already established and would like to work with the Round Table International Board and other Round Table associations please drop us a line. Better yet if you live in any of the above countries please let us know and get a chance to become a Founder!

Round Table Czech Republic Needs Your Help!

My dear tablers,

After visiting the world IRO meeting in Brasov and Capital Meeting in Brussels I found out that we are not alone.

Here is my report from Czech Republic, Prague, heart of Europe, city with 1,2 million inhabitants, centre of business for Central Eastern Europe, target of many tourist for its historical beauty, wonderful city to live and be an international Tabler.

Tabling in Czech Republic started in Prague after the concept was brought in from Germany, Austria, Netherlands, RTBI and RTI. Especially tablers from RT49 Weiden helped our founding members to ADOPT, ADAPT and IMPROVE ideas and practises functioning all around Western Europe and indeed already in some former Eastern bloc countries.

RT1 Brussels got involved heavily with the Prague Tablers and thus in autumn 1992 RT1 Prague was chartered. We personally thanked them in Brussels during the Capital Meeting. The Prague charter went down in history for more than 600 Tablers from all over Europe participated.

In 1992 we chartered RT2 Ceske Budejovice which was closed recently.

In 1997 we opened RT3 in the city of Pisek which is doing well.

Here in Prague we have only 4-5 active members and about 3-5 oldies attending regularly our meetings. We need your help!

How can you help? Find out if any of your members are now living in Prague, Pisek or anywhere else in the Czech Republic or fly frequently here. Publish this request in your national magazine or write one up yourselves.

Let's try to help us grow; lets bring international tabling to our tables in the Czech Republic.

We want to have at least 13 active, young tablers at the end of 2008 in each of our tables, please support us in this task. If we reunite our efforts as tablers on international level we will be strong and healthy on local level again. Also please help us in setting up new tables in other cities.

From our side we will try even harder to increase our membership and we promise that this will happen with your support and encouragement.

We are pleased to inform you that as per the RTI Asia Pacific Region AGM Held in Nepal recently, It has been decided to strengthen our existing Tabling community & also have meaningful extensions in different countries in the Region.

We need your help in identifying friends, relatives and contacts who you think would be keen joining Round Table. We are currently working towards strengthen tables in in New Zealand.

RT New Zealand is over 50 years old but they have decline in membership for the last few years,this effort is to strengthen the tables of New Zealand & make New Zealand reach the past glory & membership strength.
